"Love" for Sale

I took some pics of a sex vending maching. It's the only one I've seen on the street, but I don't trek around the city much so maybe sex vending machines are fairly common to see. ... The machine is in a grungy and rundown neighborhood of Nanshan, not too far from from the Shekou Walmart, a cheap shopping street lined with shops and boutiques selling everything from clothes and shoes to haircuts and electronics. As I was snapping the pictures it caused a bit of a stir with the owner of the shop next to it, a young Chinese man in his late 20s, who first watched me and then started speaking Chinese to me. When I keep shooting he grabbed my arm and shook his head and said, "No." A crowd started to gather so I decided five good pics was good enough and got out of there.
