TWO Great "Moon Festival" Events This Weekend

Full Moon

Summer's over and Lila and I have returned from the Philippines. So, along with our buddy Ranajit, we're once again starting to plan activities for "real people."

First up: A "Moon Viewing Picnic," where you can come view the Moon with friends.

We'll gather around 4 p.m. in the area marked "Palm Meadow" on the map.

Bring dinner, drinks, and mooncakes to share. Vegetarian dishes are especially welcome.

The Moon will rise before the sun goes down. After sundown, we'll take a leisurely stroll to the top of the mountain to see the Moon over the
city.

Bring: Food, drinks, mosquito repellent, Frisbees, guitars, ground cloths, board games, soccer balls, tubas, and of course MOONCAKES.

The weather report says "partly cloudy." We'll cancel if it rains. (Call to confirm.)

Directions: Shaoniangong Metro Station (Exit C2); turn left to reach the Main Gate at the top of Yitian Lu. Inside the gate and past the signboard, look for the large open space on the left; we'll be somewhere near the palms.

NEXT UP: PARTY! Some of us may leave the park and head over to the new C:Union in OCT. Click the flier below to see it enlarged on Shenzhen Stuff.
