Lianhuashan (Lotus Hill) Park
Hongli Road West, Futian Central
Lianhuashan Park has a number of nice features:
- a kite flying area (buy a kite in kiosks near the southwest entrance)
- the Guan Shanyue Museum
- a boating lake
- a teahouse
- walking trails
- the hill itself, with a view of the city and a monumental statue of Deng Xiaoping, "The Father of Shenzhen"
It's easy enough to find: at the top end of Metro Line 4 (Shaoniangong Metro Station), take Exit C2 and turn left to reach the Main Gate; take Exit B and go straight to reach the Southwest gate near the Guan Shanyue Museum.
