The Buzz:

This is a quieter, better-decorated branch of our favorite restaurant. It's a bit off the beaten path, or we'd probably eat there more often. It's great for a formal dinner, though. As usual, a picture menu makes ordering easy.

The PLACE:

• Where: On Guiyuan Lu, north of Jiefang. It's across from the "Cinema Building" on the 2nd floor of a small hotel building.
• By Metro: Dajuyuan Exit D. Walk east on Jiefang Lu, past Bao'an Nan Lu. Turn left at Guiyuan Lu (the Cinema Building); the restaurant will be on the left.
