The Buzz:

We first knew the Bao'an Nan branch of Dengpin, with its excellent buffet (listing coming soon). This one doesn't have the buffet; however, like most vegetarian restaurants in Shenzhen, it does mercifully provide a picture menu.

The PLACE:

• Where: It's easy to find: Past the Shirble Department Store on Binhai/Guimiao (it changes names right here) near Nanshan Lu, spot the KFC. Go in to the right of the KFC and up the escalator. The restaurant is just left of the top of the escalator.
• By Metro: Far from any Metro. Start at Shijie Zhichuang Station
  and go to the underground garage; take Bus 70 to Guimiao Xincun (桂庙新村); you'll have to walk further south and curve around on Binhai/Guimiao, and pass the Shirble Department Store.
• By Bus: As above; also bus 20, 76, 305, 353, 382, K204, K548 to Liyuan Dasha （荔园大厦）
