Communities Listings

One of the most frequently-asked questions on various Shenzhen forums is: "Where's a good place to live?" If you're on the other side of the world, it's hard to go house-hunting in China.

We're here to help.

Over time, we hope that each community ("village," "new village," "garden," etc.) in Shenzhen will be described, evaluated, and illustrated. (We haven't really tried to describe buildings, as they're pretty much the same; rather, we're more interested in complexes.) To be honest, at this writing (January, 2008) the only one completed is our own: Fuhua Xincun. But we're just getting started!

Please contribute information on your community. Just find your community's page and write comments at the bottom of it.
